The spiral classifier is one of the equipment for mineral processing. The spiral classifier is a kind of equipment for mechanical classification based on the principle that the solid particles have different specific gravities and therefore different precipitation speeds in the liquid. It can filter the powder ground in the mill, and then use the spiral blades to rotate the coarse material into the mill feed port, and discharge the filtered fine material from the overflow pipe.

How To Install And Operate The Spiral Classifier?

1. After the spiral body rotates, the slurry can be fed in, and the feeding amount can be gradually increased.

2. When the spiral body is in a working state, if it encounters special faults such as jamming or overload and needs to be stopped immediately, the spiral body should be immediately lifted out of the slurry surface, and the spiral body should never be pressed in the slurry. The ore valve should be opened quickly to avoid clogging.

3. When starting again, the spiral body must be lowered to a certain position before the spiral body can be rotated.

4. If the classifier needs to be stopped during use, the feeding should be stopped first, and the operation can be stopped only after the material process is classified and there is no material inside.

Maintenance

1. All lubrication points are lubricated with sodium-based grease or calcium-based grease.

2. Check whether the lubricating oil inside the reducer is on the oil needle mark every shift, and change the oil every 6 months.

3. Check whether the lower support or the middle frame bearing, bearing, and sealing ring are worn, and whether the bearing is damaged, so as to replace them in time.

4. Bearing lubrication must be carried out by injecting high-pressure oil into the bearing every 4 hours using a manual dry oil pump to maintain the sealing performance of the bearing.
